Sorry for the silence but it’s been full on preparing for the Worlds…

But now the World Duathlon in Pontevedra is over we can consolidate our training so far, feedback and review our progress and performances and plan for the next challenges ahead.

Suffice to say, the event in Spain was exceptional from all our athletes with everyone including our newcomers performing extremely well in the heat.  This bodes well for the remainder of the season and, in a way, it is good to have the Standard and Sprint distances out of the way so that we can now concentrtae on the World Long Distance Duathlon in Zofingen in September and the National Duathlon Champs in Emberton in October.

Keep logging on over the next few days as I report on 26 weeks of training in my range of running shoes, a report on the new Inov8 Tri Xtreme 225s and a long term report on my Newton Distance shoes.
